The Lockdown
The idle days have a lot to say;
If you don’t know what;
If you don’t know what;
They are here to stay.
The busy schedule and hectic life;
Made families part; was a source of pride.
Egos soared high; we looked, immortals;
only, to realise, we are not even mortals !!
When Judgements go wrong; lives get ruined;
It’s race against time; so be illumined.
Pay heed, to the greed within us;
Kill it, be kind, before we rust.
Be not, all brawn and no brains;
Be not, all brawn and no brains;
cleanse and shun those crimson stains.
The signs are ominous !!; and we devolved;
The message is loud, for the yet not evolved.
Mend your ways, the creator says!!;
The idle days have a lot to say.
